Jonathan Goodman, President and CEO

Jonathan Goodman, President and CEO of Dundee Corporation, is also President and CEO of Dundee Goodman Merchant Partners, a mining focused merchant bank.

Mr. Goodman served as CEO of Dundee Precious Metals (DPM-T) from 1995 to 2013, as Executive Chairman from April 2013 to September 2017, at which time he was appointed Chairman.

Mr. Goodman has over 30 years of experience in the resource and investment industry, working as a geologist, senior analyst, portfolio manager and as CEO of a producing mining company. Mr. Goodman joined Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Ltd. in 1990, where he was responsible for the selection of Canadian equities and played a major role in developing asset allocation strategies, before becoming the company’s President. He is also one of the founding partners of Goepel Shields and Partners, an investment firm. Mr. Goodman graduated from the Colorado School of Mines as a Professional Engineer, holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Julian Barnes, Managing Director, Technical

Julian Barnes has extensive experience in major exploration and development projects, technical computing applications, due diligence, independent expert reports, structural analysis, exploration and mining geology, technical audits, valuations, resource evaluations, ore reserve modelling, pit optimization and feasibility study management.

For the past several years he has been an Independent Consultant offering his clients overall due diligence, reviews of projects and companies for resource financing entities. His clients have included listed and unlisted resource and mining companies. Dr. Barnes held the title of Executive Vice President Dundee Precious Metals where he led exploration, project acquisition, and due diligence.

He founded and led Resource Service Group for nearly two decades, which ultimately became RSG Global and has since been sold to Coffey Mining. RSG Global provided technical services to the minerals industry from exploration and target definition through to mine closure. The company grew to more than 250 staff with offices in Australia, South America, Europe and Africa. Dr. Barnes began his career as a Project Geologist, and Senior Geologist with Electrolytic Zinc Co. of Australasia, where he discovered Bottle Creek Gold Mine in Western Australia.

Adrian Goldstone, Managing Director, Technical

Adrian Goldstone brings expertise in all aspects of environmental management and project management. He has a strong reputation for creative business solutions. His skills are key to the investment process.

As Executive Vice President at Dundee Precious Metals from 2006 to 2014, his accountabilities included Sustainable Business Development, Environmental Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Executive Project Management. Projects he oversaw included a project in Krumovgrad, Bulgaria, and the smelter emissions upgrade as well as the smelter acid plant in Tsumeb, Namibia.

Prior to this, Mr. Goldstone was Partner and Managing Director Kingett Mitchell Ltd. for a decade. Kingett Mitchell was a diversified resource and environmental engineering consultancy based in New Zealand. He built a successful international minerals industry consultancy and grew the business to 5 times its size during his tenure. Golder Associates acquired Kingett Mitchell in 2006. Additionally, Mr. Goldstone spent 10 years in various roles with Cyprus Minerals and Cyprus Amax in their corporate and international groups.

Lila A. Manassa Murphy, EVP and Chief Financial Officer

Lila A. Manassa Murphy is Managing Partner of Intrinsic Value Partners, founded to provide advisory services on public and private investments including research and due diligence, portfolio construction, and risk management to family offices and asset management firms. Most recently, effective May 14th 2021, Ms. Murphy rotated off of the board and audit committee of Dundee Corporation, on which she served since August of 2018, to become the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

Previously, she was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Federated Hermes, formerly Federated Investors, one of the largest U.S. investment management firms with over $360 billion in assets under management. Based in Dallas, Texas, she has also developed deep industry expertise in the natural resources sector and in her role was responsible for portfolio management and fundamental analysis in the alternative equity investment area. She has more than 25 years of investment experience and previously held senior positions at David W. Tice & Associates Inc. and Lee Financial Corporation.

Ms. Murphy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University, is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Public Accountant. She currently serves on the board of Gold Resource Corp. (NYSE: GORO) and is a member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association.

Matthew Goodman, CMP Portfolio Manager, Co-Lead

Matthew Goodman joined the Manager in 2013 and was responsible for evaluating strategic resource investment opportunities. Along with being the Co-Lead Portfolio Manager of the CMP Funds, Matthew is currently the Portfolio Manager of New Venture Equities Fund LP, a private equity‐style investment fund with a principal investment strategy to invest in a portfolio comprised of securities that conduct business within the mining sector. His background includes mineral exploration and equity capital markets experience. Matthew Goodman is a CFA Charterholder and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree, specializing in Microeconomic Analysis and Global Economics from York University.

Emily Griffiths, CMP Portfolio Manager, Co-Lead

Emily Griffiths joined Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel as an associate with a focus on evaluating investment opportunities for the CMP and DGRC funds. Emily was previously at Kinross Gold from 2015 to 2020 where she worked on the geological technical services team supporting various sites, the technical evaluations team assessing M&A opportunities, and the PFS project management team for an advanced stage exploration project.

Ms. Griffiths graduated from McGill University in 2015 where she completed an Honours degree in Earth Sciences and a minor in Mathematics.

Justin Sickert, Analyst

Justin Sickert joined the Investment Team in 2023 as an Analyst, with a focus on conducting industry research, due diligence and sophisticated analysis on potential investment opportunities. Mr. Sickert earned his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, majoring in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University. During his academic tenure, Justin completed a 16-month internship at Canadian Natural Resources Limited working as a short range mine planner and worked as an Economics Teaching Assistant for his University. Mr. Sickert is also an acclaimed member of the Queen’s University team that won the Goodman Gold Challenge: Battery Metal Edition in 2023.
